Reflections on Stanford GSB’s Centennial Celebration at Frost Amphitheater

Yesterday I had the honor of attending Stanford GSB’s Centennial celebration at Frost Amphitheater. As we marked 100 years since the school’s founding, the evening was both a tribute to the past and an inspiring look ahead at how our community will continue to shape the future of business and society.

The program featured energetic performances and thoughtful remarks from faculty, alumni, and students. The stage pulsed with color and motion, reflecting the vibrancy of the GSB community and the diversity of experiences that have defined our first century. I loved reconnecting with friends and meeting new faces, all united by a shared passion for leadership and impact.

Looking around the amphitheater, I was struck by how many stories converged in one place. From early pioneers to recent graduates, each person represented a thread in the broader tapestry of GSB’s legacy. The celebration reinforced for me how important it is to keep pushing boundaries, champion innovation, and support one another as we tackle the challenges ahead.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who made the centennial celebration so special. I left the event feeling reenergized and grateful to be part of this incredible community. Here’s to the next hundred years of Stanford GSB!
