Re-elected as Chair: Driving the Future of Edge AI Governance

I’m honored to share that I have been re-elected as Chair of the Edge Governing Board.

This role represents not only a personal milestone, but also a continued commitment to advancing the edge AI ecosystem, bringing together developers, enterprises, and open-source communities to build the next generation of distributed intelligence.

Over the past term, we’ve made meaningful progress in strengthening collaboration across the ecosystem, accelerating innovation in edge computing, and aligning efforts across cloud-to-edge architectures. From enabling scalable AI deployments at the edge to fostering an open and inclusive developer community, the momentum we’ve built is just the beginning.

Looking ahead, the opportunity is even more exciting. As AI continues to evolve rapidly, especially with the rise of AI agents and real-time intelligence, the edge will play a critical role in delivering low-latency, privacy-preserving, and scalable solutions. My focus will be on:

• Advancing edge AI infrastructure and developer experience

• Strengthening open-source collaboration across communities

• Bridging cloud and edge to enable seamless AI deployment

• Supporting emerging use cases across industries
